Hello,
My name is Marc.
I am a design lead with over a decade of experience building and designing digital products. I am also currently teaching the Capstone class at MICA for the Master’s in UX Design program.
I am curious, love learning new things, and I love teaching. I think some of my biggest wins have come from mentoring and assisting other designers with their products. I value transparency, communication, and the ability to step back enough to put the product and the team first. I enjoy working with Product Managers and regularly find myself taking on or assisting in those responsibilities. I think balancing innovative, creative ideas with proven methodologies is necessary for a successful product & team.
I try to foster understanding in and out of the classroom. Whether I am talking to students, stakeholders, product, or engineering, I think we all do better when we share understanding of the problems we set out to solve.
