I'm a Lead Product Designer with 13+ years of experience ranging from Apple Maps and the Play Store to early-stage start-ups, VMware, Broadcom, Space Force, and CDCR. I have worked with cutting edge tech that had no previous design precedent, or guidelines. These include; AI voice analysis, Daydream (VR), Tango (AR), Android AUTO, 3D mapping, satellite imaging, optical coherence tomography, spectrum analysis, and wearables.

For five years, I have taught the thesis class for the Master's in UX Design program at MICA and absolutely love it.

I have led well over a dozen 0→1 products for both startups and enterprises. I was a partner at an acquired software agency & Argo Navigation. I make business goals my own, will tell you when the research indicates a pivot is needed, or when you will start to see diminishing returns on your UX ROI. I regularly wear a Product Manager hat & deeply appreciate collaboration and alignment with other team members, stakeholders, and leadership.

I recently researched, prototyped, scoped, & proposed 4 apps to CDCR, (3 approved) for a total of $5.5 mil in new contracts. My apps with CDCR save California over $10+ mil a year. The "Restricted Housing Record" received the California Government Innovation Summit award in 2024.
